Hong Kong provides its travelers a most convenient way to get to and from the airport with the Hong Kong Airport Express. This direct rail link leaves the airport and stations every 12 minutes. About Hong Kong Airport Express
The Hong Kong Airport Express begins at the Arrivals Hall at Hong Kong International Airport (follow the signs for “Trains to the City”). There is only one line and you can simply board the train with your luggage. Tip: If your phone needs a charge, hop onto train car 1 and train car 7 (first and last train cars) which have in-seat chargers. All train cars provide free WiFi on board.
The train stops at Tsing Yi Station (for connecting to New Territories), Kowloon Station (inside Elements Mall), and Hong Kong Station (inside IFC Mall for Hong Kong Island).
Additionally, you can use your Airport Express ticket for hotel shuttle buses taking you directly to major hotels around the city. Check to see if your hotel is on the list.
Aside from its direct access to the city, another fantastic advantage of the Airport Express is the In-Town Check-In at Hong Station and Kowloon Station. You can check-in your luggage at these stations 90 minutes before your flight up to one full day before your scheduled flight.
So now, you can continue to enjoy the city until it is time to head to the airport. Just take your carry-on bag to the airport and head straight to the security gate.

Discounted Airport Express Tickets
You can purchase tickets at the Airport and Stations’ Ticket Machines or Ticket Counter using your credit card or Hong Kong Dollars. If you plan ahead, you can purchase discounted tickets with significant savings.
Via Klook (an official ticket agency), you can buy the Hong Kong Airport Express Train Tickets (QR Code Direct Entry).
With this ticket, you enter the gate directly with your QR code. Tip: set your phone’s screen to the highest brightness and place it about 2-3 cm away from the sensor scanner. From the airport, you can simply board the train and wait to scan your ticket at the station’s exit gate.
More tips: Promotions for Seniors over the age of 65 and children between the ages of 3 to 11 qualify for discounts that can only be purchased at the Ticket Counters with proof of ID. Children under the age of 2 are free.
