A Look Into the InterContinental Osaka Breakfast Buffet

Starting the Day Right in Osaka

When you are traveling, breakfast is an important start to the day to give you enough energy to explore your destination. Plus, it is a great introduction to the culture’s breakfast dishes. Here is a look at InterContinental Osaka breakfast buffet spread:

The InterContinental Osaka Breakfast Buffet

Breakfast at the Intercontinental Osaka is located in the Noka Roast & Grill restaurant at the hotel lobby’s 20th floor. Breakfast features a buffet spread which you can either pay per person or book a package that includes breakfast with your nightly rate.

The buffet features an egg station with a fixed menu of hot egg dishes (though the cooking and presentation of the eggs could be better..), a rotating Japanese breakfast selection of dishes, hot Western and Chinese choices, deli, fruits, cereals, juices, and a lovely bread and pastry station.

As soon as you walk into the Noka Roast & Grill, you will be greeted by the buffet spread in the front of the restaurant. The tables are located around the buffet stations and by the massive windows to enjoy the views from the 20th floor.

When in Japan, feast on the Japanese breakfast spread at the buffet. The breakfast includes a rotating broiled fish with steamed rice and miso soup, plus onsen eggs, egg rolls, inari (tofu rice rolls), and a wide choice of vegetables and condiments to eat with the rice and whole meal.

Aside from the Japanese station, there is also a small noodle station which rotates each day from a choice of ramen to soba to udon. The noodles are already in a small bowl which you can fill with broth and top with your choice of toppings and garnishes.

With breakfast comes coffee or tea which are the best pairing with the incredible pastry station. The bread and pastries change each morning as well and the pastries are all deliciously light and flaky.
