The absolute best time of the year to visit Hong Kong is during its autumn months from September to November. Plentiful sunshine, comfortable temperatures, and pleasant breezes. Temperature average ranges from 19 to 28 degrees Celsius (60 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit)
Winter
The next best time of the year to visit Hong Kong is during its winter months from December to February. The temperature cools and the humidity dries with cloudy skies and occasional cold fronts. Temperature average ranges from 12 to 20 degrees Celsius (53 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit)
Spring
Another good time of the year to visit Hong Kong is during its spring months from March to May. Temperatures and humidity begin to transition from the winter season and into the summer season. Temperature average ranges from 17 to 26 degrees Celsius (62 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit)
Worst Months to Visit Hong Kong
Summer
Hands down, the worst time of the year to visit Hong Kong is during its summer months from June to August. It is hot and sunny with “instant-sweat” high humidity levels. Temperature average ranges from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius (78 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit). While the temperature may read as a pleasant number, combined with the high humidity it is uncomfortably hot.
