Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Restaurants

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya offers multiple floors with cafes, restaurants, and bars. In the basement levels down in B2, there are casual cafes, a casual sake bar, small shops, and a large 7-Eleven.

In B1, the Hibiya Food Hall features 8 eateries including an oyster bar, American grill, tapas, Vietnamese, vegetarian dishes, and a French bakery.

On the ground floor, locals have been lining up for the New York famous Buvette with classic bistro cuisine.

Further up, there are even more restaurants! There are sushi, soba, tempura, pizza, Italian, French, Thai, and even an upscale izakaya pub locals amidst a clothing shop.

And that’s not all! There’s even the famous Ryugin, currently rated No. 9 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list and also Star Bar which is consistently ranked in the World’s Best Bars and Asia’s Best Bars.

For highball fans, head up to the 3rd floor’s Hibiya Central Market for a night of drinks and izakaya dishes. The best part about this “pub” is that you won’t come out smelling like a typical izakaya pub.

A must order at this izakaya pub is the fried chicken. It is a generous plate that is meant to share. Izakaya dining means to order a round of drinks and a couple of dishes and then repeating that for the rest of the night.

Oysters fans, head down to the basement food fall for oysters prepared in various ways including fresh, fried, and even sautéed into pasta. This Oyster Po Boy is a great option for lunch which comes complete with a scoop of potato salad, fries, and a side salad.

There’s also the fried oyster rice plate set and even Lobster Po Boy if you want something other than oysters. At this food hall, you can sit in the center and order dishes from all the 8 eateries on the floor.
