All About El Nido Island Hopping Tours.
You can’t go to El Nido and not experience and Island Hopping Tour. You can be physically fit for adventures or a leisure tourist to enjoy the gorgeous sights on the water. Here is a guide and description to the 4 El Nido Island Hopping Tours.
First, Notes & Tips
Note that specific itineraries and routes may change or vary depending on the crowds and weather of the day. If you have difficulty choosing one, know that you cannot go wrong with any tour as they are all amazing.
While the boats offer water and rentals of aqua shoes which are required for the island hopping experience, it is really best to bring your own Reusable Water Bottle and Aqua Shoes.
All tours operate for 7 to 8 hours from 9am to 4pm or 5pm. Water and lunch are included. The lunch provided is cooked onboard by the boat staff. The buffet-style meal is served on a beach or on the boat itself with a variety of grilled meats, seafood, rice, vegetables, and fruits – all local.
Bring extra pesos (in 100 bills) in case you want to rent kayaks or buy cold drinks during your outing. And, be sure to wear your swimwear and bring an extra change of clothes. The sun is intense so bring sunscreen!
Tour A: Best for Lagoons & Beaches
Tour A is one of the two most popular island hopping tours in El Nido as it offers tourists access to the most iconic lagoons and clear water, white sand beaches as well as snorkeling.
The tour includes the Big Lagoon or Small Lagoon (unfortunately local laws do not permit tours to go to both lagoons), Secret Lagoon, Shimuzu Island for snorkeling, and Seven Commando Beach to end the day relaxing on the beach with a drink.
Tour B: Best for Caves & Islands
Tour B is best known for accessing incredible caves and walking on a most gorgeous sandbar in the middle of seas as well as exploring white sand beaches and snorkeling.
The tour includes visiting Snake Island for the sandbar, Pinagbuyutan Island for famous limestone formations and its beach, Entalula Beach for a long stretch of white sand beach, Cudugnon Cave with potteries dating back to the 10th century as well as hideout spot of locals from the Japanese during WW2, and a secret snorkeling site.
Tour C: Best for Beaches & Snorkeling
Tour C is the most popular of all the tours because of the amazing islands, beaches, and snorkeling spots visited in just one day. These are definitely some of the best and most gorgeous beaches you will ever visit in your travels.
The tour includes Helicopter Island which is shaped like a helicopter, Matinloc Shrine, Secret Beach, Star Beach, and Hidden Beach.

Tour D: Best for Beaches & Lagoon
Tour D is best known for its variety of clean, clear waters, soft white sand beaches, and lagoons that are only accessible by boat. This is a great experience if you spend extra days in El Nido and book more than one tour.
The tour includes visiting Ipil Beach, Cadlao Lagoon, Paradise Beach, Pasandigan Beach, Natnat Beach, and Bukal Beach.
