1. Cinnamon Rolls

You cannot go to Denmark and not try their pastries. While almost every coffee shop will have their display of pastries and cinnamons, head to one of the Meyers Bageri locations for the one of the city’s highest quality of cinnamon rolls, or kanelsnegle. It’s wonderfully light, crunchy, chewy, fluffy, and packed with local cinnamon

3. Salmon at Magasin de Nord

You cannot go to Denmark and not enjoy the local seafood. For some of the finest bites of Scandinavian salmon, head to the basement floor of the famous Magazine du Nord department store. The food hall consists of food stalls and a high grocery. Within the grocery is a seafood area where you can purchase salmon, order beer and wine, and eat in the grocery itself – this will be one of your culinary highlights in Copenhagen!

 

4. Food Crawl through Torvehallerne

Spend a whole day on a food crawl through Copenhagen’s famous covered food hall, Torvehallerne. You can have buy souvenirs, taste Danish cheeses, admire the seasonal fruits and vegetables, take photos of the fresh and clean wet market, sample the open-faced sandwiches, smorrebrod, and more

 

5. Tasting Menu at Roxie

Copenhagen is Europe’s current food-centric destination.
