Yokohama in One Day: How to Get There, What to Do, and Where to Eat.
You can easily fill an entire week’s travel itinerary in Tokyo with exploring a major district or popular neighborhood each day. There are also half-day trips like over to Kawagoe for Little Edo. And then there are full-day trips like to Yokohama. Here is a suggested Yokohama day trip itinerary:

Getting from Tokyo to Yokohama
For an exact train route from Tokyo to Yokohama, use Google Maps to indicate your starting point and where you want to go first in Yokohama, in this case, Cup Noodle Museum. Tip: use the suggested route with only one train line. This will take less than an hour and you do not have to worry about transferring train lines.
1. Cup Noodle Museum
Start with something a touristy yet equally fun at the Cup Noodles Museum. Here you will learn the history of the world-famous Cup Noodles and even get a chance to assemble your own customized Cup Noodles to take home.

2. Sky Garden
Walk over to Minato Mirai to see all of Yokohama and beyond in the city’s tallest building (which is also the second tallest in the country). The Sky Garden Observatory on the 69th floor boasts of incredible daytime and evening views. Aside from great photos, you will also experience the fastest elevator in Japan.

3. Red Brick Warehouse
Walk over to lunch in the city’s famous Red Brick Warehouse. This former officials customs inspection house now houses shops, cafes, and restaurants. Choose from the casual picnic food court, cafes interspersed between shops or the restaurants on the balcony overlooking the waterfront.

4. Osanbashi Pier
Take a stroll away from the crowds and walk off lunch over in Osanbashi Pier, or the Yokohama International Passenger Terminal. Here you will capture incredible waterfront views and admire the architecture of the pier building.

5. Yamashita Park
Next, walk over to Yamashita Park, the city’s first western park which opened in 1930. Take in the pristine landscaping and stunning views of the bay.

6. Yokohama Chinatown
Walk a few blocks away from the park over to the famous Yokohama Chinatown. This is the largest Chinatown in Japan with around 250 Chinese-owned restaurants and shops. This is a great place to end your day trip to Yokohama with a street-food style food crawl dinner.
