5 of the Best Things to Eat at Tokyo’s DisneySea

Best Things to Eat & Drink at Tokyo’s DisneySea

In most amusement parks, the food is not worth your money nor calories. At Tokyo’s DisneySea, it is worth spending time searching for the amusement park’s best food and drink. Here are the best things to eat at Tokyo’s DisneySea:

1. Potato Churros

Mochi-like potato on the inside, fried in the shape of a churro and dusted with Japanese curry powder. This is a must get at the kiosk in the Mysterious Island. Do not think about sharing because of the whole stick is so easy to eat that you’ll crave for a second

2. Alien Mochi

With kiosks in the Toy Story area and in the American Waterfront, this is a must get sweet especially if you love mochi. There are three mochi balls each filled with a Neapolitan flavor of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate

3. Cheese-filled Sausage with Beer

Instead of filling up at one restaurant, it is best to go around tasting the small snacks all around the amusement park. This cheese-filled sausage at the American Waterfront pairs so well with the cold beer

4. Gyoza Bun with More Beer

For a taste of Japan’s comfort food, head down to the open-air restaurant at the Mysterious Island for the much talked about gyoza bun filled with pork and pair it with a cold local beer
The bun is filled with gyoza pork and wrapped around a fluffy, hot soft dough. The heat of the bun pairs so perfectly with the cold, draft Japanese beer

5. Shrimp Bun

If you want more of that fluffy bun, try the shrimp bun at the kiosk near the American Waterfront. The packaging alone makes buying the bun worthwhile.
The bun is generously filled with a shrimp filling. If you are not as hungry, but curious to try it, this is a bun worth sharing

Plus! Drinks!

But, wait, there’s more! If it’s too hot or too cold outside, or you simply want to go inside somewhere for a proper drink, head to the Teddy Roosevelt Lounge in the American Waterfront which is like an old-time American tavern with an overwhelming selection of beers and cocktails

Burn off the calories discovering DisneySea’s whole new world

It is not just the food and rides that are the main attractions of DisneySea. It’s also the whole ambiance and all the authentic details in the entire park. Every land within the amusement park is like you are actually traveling around the world.

The moment you enter into DisneySea you will immediately get transported to a whole new world, and that first world is the Mediterranean. There is such an authenticity in the decor, colors, and textures of the walls and windows
It really feels like Venice, too! Minus all the extra crowds, plus the cleaner streets. There is also a Gondola ride along the Venetian canals and multiple bridges over and above the water. You can easily take photos as though you actually visited Italy
As you cross bridges and explore DisneySea you will find new worlds in the distance – like Arabian Nights. This Middle Eastern setting takes you in the world of Aladdin and there is such realness in the architecture. If you go during the summer season, even the heat is like you are in the Middle East
The details on the buildings and architecture are so amazingly intricate and real. It is these details that make you truly believe you have been transported all around the world as you simply walk across the amusement park
You go around the world and through time. You are taken through the Mayan world like you’re Indiana Jones and through the old American Yankee time period. Your photos will really seem like you did not just go to Japan, but a world tour
