Classic Malaysian breakfast at JP teres

Start the day with a hearty Malaysian breakfast. Guests have a choice to dine up in the main restaurant or on the ground floor in JP teres. Here at JP teres, you can choose a breakfast set that will certainly start your day well and fill you up until lunch.

Nasi lemak (considered to be the national breakfast dish of rice served with peanuts and sambal), tosai (from Indian influence, a crepe with dhal and curries to dip), and samosas (another Indian influence, a fried savory pastry filled with potatoes). All for $10 USD. Simple and authentic, clean and quality. This is the perfect start to your day in Kuala Lumpur

 

A la carte selections at JP teres

The restaurant offers guests an impressive buffet spread of all the classic dishes as well as a la carte menu for those not wanting to over-indulge. The menu showcases everything Malaysian with Malay, Chinese, and Indian flavors.

Start the meal with a cold drink after a long day out in the Malaysian heat. A cold coconut to hydrate and a cold draft beer to unwind. Alongside JP teres is also the sports bar which serves alcohol and refreshing drinks during the day and at night
Nasi goring. Fried rice, egg, chicken, prawn, chicken satay, crispy white bait, and chilli. A complete meal with an excellent source of protein packed with those deep Malaysian spices and flavors
Rendang daging. Braised beef, lemongrass, galangal, turmeric leaf, spices, coconut. Another classic Malaysian dish with Malay and Indian influences. The depth of flavor is so intense and perfect with a cup of white rice
Kari kepala ikan. Fish head curry, coriander, fenugreek, fennel, cumin, okra. The large fish head is full of white fish meat to match the range of flavors in the curry. An order to share with the whole table

 

Dessert at JP teres

After the meal that was packed with savory flavors and spices, dessert is a must for a light, sweet ending. The restaurant serves homemade soft serve ice creams and classical Malaysian desserts which are perfect to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Pandan chiffon cake with soft serve ice cream, kaya, and tropical fruit. Pandan chiffon cake is a classic dessert found in Malaysia and Singapore. This is one of the most popular (and beautifully plated with its colors) desserts in JP teres
