Entrance to The Peninsula Beijing on the main road located mere blocks from the shopping district and the Forbidden City which makes the location ideal for a quiet break from the crowds of locals and tourists. Fun fact, this hotel was one of the first luxury hotels in Beijing.

Deluxe Suite with twin beds and city views are perfect for families. The suite room is 65 square meters large, or 700 square feet total.
The city area can accommodate an extra bed if needed which still leaves ample room for the desk and dining table.

As well as the signature spacious walk-in closet to accommodate your luggages as well as plenty of space to hang clothes.
Don’t skip breakfast! There’s the buffet breakfast and also this addicting croissant trolley where you can take a croissant and tea as take away – perfect snacks for day trips to the Great Wall and Forbidden City.
Aside from the local, Asian, and Western dishes at the buffet, you can also order egg dishes, noodle soups, and more as a la carte. If you love eggs benedicts and smoked salmon, you’ll certainly enjoy this dish. Don’t miss out of the pancakes either.

Be sure to have at least one meal at the hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy quality local Peking Duck as well as regional and Cantonese specialties. Aside from the food and service, the highlight of the restaurant is the decor that takes you back in time and you can really feel the culture.
Huang Ting is the hotel’s tea lounge and Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy traditional tea service and amamzing local Chinese dishes.

The restaurant’s theme brings you back in time to a nobleman’s hutong in which it feels like you traveled backed in time and dining luxuriously.
When in Beijing, enjoy the local duck! Regardless of ordering a half or whole, you will enjoy tableside service of the duck carving.
You must also enjoy the other roast meat dishes, such as this incredible pigeon/squab.
Everything on the menu is delicious, from the appetizers to the meats to the seafood dishes and vegetables. Come hungry and try it all.
