The Dining Scenes in The Landmark in Central Hong Kong

Dining Splurges and Feasts at The Landmark, Hong Kong

While dim sum is a requirement when you are in Hong Kong, the city’s dining scene is bursting with international chefs, restaurants, and accolades.

In Central, The Landmark houses the most prestigious fashion brands and 8 Michelin-starred restaurants, including those at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.

There is no better way to celebrate a shopping splurge than with a cocktail (or few) paired with an unforgettable meal.

L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon

L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon is a perfect venue for such a spree.

Opened 10 years ago in 2006, the restaurant has been awarded 4 consecutive years with the full 3 Michelin stars.  Additionally, it is the ranked #17 as the World’s Best restaurant in Asia.  Robuchon knows how to globally expand his restaurants from Europe to Las Vegas and all over Asia.

L’Atelier serves modern French cuisine updated with global trends, namely Asian influences.  The atmosphere brings a relaxed approached to fine dining.  It is refined while contemporary and fun.  The servers and chefs exemplify the enjoyable experience with their attentive and friendly hospitality.

Le Homard. Caramelized lobster with sea urchin and risotto.  Almost anything with uni brings me to mush.  Add perfectly cooked lobster and creamy risotto?  You’ll be floating with me above heaven
La Truffe Noire
Le Canard. Roasted duck breast and poached baby pear in spiced red wine.  This could be the best piece of duck I have tasted around the world.  French perfection with Chinese expertise.  Take my money, please

CIAK – In the Kitchen

Without completely breaking the bank, you can also have a tempting feast at CIAK – In the Kitchen.

Umberto Bombana, the 3 Michelin-starred chef of 8 ½ Otto E Mezzo, introduces contemporary Italian comfort food in Hong Kong’s only trattoria with a Michelin star.

The restaurant is surrounded by 4 open kitchen stations: the main kitchen, the charcoal grill, the pasta bar, and the bakery.  There is also a counter for take away, which is popular with the corporate lunch crowd.

Mezze Maniche. Spicy N’Duja sausage, sweet onion, tomato, and pecorino cheese.  Perfectly al dente short pasta brought to life with the bite of the spice from the sausage
Grilled Iberico Pork Neck. Lusciously tender pork with that distinct charcoal grilled taste

Either and any dining selection at The Landmark will surely leave you without any buyer’s remorse.
