While we are all spending most of our time at home right now avoiding the germ-filled outside world, it’s about time to properly disinfect your home. Here are some clean house tips:
Use disinfectant wipes and do not spray anything directly onto your devices. Do this at least once a day. Here are some options for disinfectant wipes.
– doorknobs
– light switches
– remotes
– handles in the kitchen, dining area (especially the drawer for – utensils)
– bathroom sink
– flusher and toilet bowl
– desk
– dining table
– kitchen countertops
– EVERYTHING
Here are some options for disinfectant sprays.
If you really care about keeping your home clean, don’t bring in outside dirt and germs – and those are all over your shoes. Instead, wear house slippers, house socks, or socks at home.
Just like your shoes, your outside clothes have outside germs. Who knows what germs you collected on your clothes from wherever you sat down. Or if someone’s cough or sneeze particles floated to your shirt. Take off your outside clothes once you get home and wear house clothes. It’s way more comfortable that way, too.
Much like your outside clothes, your body, skin, and hair collected germs from your day outside. While many beauty tips highly recommend not to shower and wash your hair every day, to really stay clean at home it is really best to shower and wash off all those germs every day, and preferably right when you get home or at least before going to bed.
Purchases from stores and even online shopping have been held by people, and who knows what they have touched! Wipe these purchases with a disinfectant wipe or disinfectant spray/paper towel. This includes groceries, toiletries, everything.
But really, every day is ideal. Once your home is clean, it is easier to maintain it each day or at the end of every night.
If you have a staff helping you at home, have them shower before starting their day; and they should wear clean clothes/uniforms in your house and not their outside clothes.
