Right now, most of the world has been ordered to stay home. And if you aren’t at home, go home now and keep yourself and everyone you may affect safe. Here are tips for how to make staying at home easier:
It’s really simple, stay at home. Don’t go out. As much as you can, order necessary items online. If you have to make a grocery run, plan it for once a week at the most. Eliminating and limiting going out lessens the chances of you getting sick, which in turn lessens the chances of you unknowingly infecting others.
If you don’t like staying at home, find a way to change up your home so it’s more livable and enjoyable. Rearrange furniture, redecorate, something.
Negative thoughts and pessimism will make everything worse. It’ll make time pass way too slow. It’ll make you sad and depressed. Think of the bright side of all this.
The environment and nature are getting a much needed cleanse from all of us. You can finally catch up on the sleep you’ve been needing. This is your chance to spend quality time with your family, or if you’re living alone to have reflective “me-time”.
With everything negative though, dig deep for a positive spin. No gym? The internet is full of bodyweight workout routines. Nothing to do? There are millions of books to read, something to fix in the house, something that needs cleaning, you can cook and bake. There are plenty and too many things to do.
The best advice for today and the days ahead to the plan. Make a list of things to do the day before. On your planning list include time to clean, workout, read a book, watch a show, bake, etc. This way you know that tomorrow there are things to accomplish aside from work.
Best of all, you can plan for longer meals. Take your time at breakfast, lunch, and dinner to really appreciate your cooking or food delivery.
