The walking tour allows guests to stroll around the streets and hidden passageways to learn about history, architecture, and culture…all while making stops for food and wine in local restaurants and boutique shops.

The original walking, cultural, tasting tour. Stroll around the heart of Carmel to discover iconic restaurants and shops, including 7 stops for food and wine.

11am to 2pm

Gimme-a-Breakfast Tour
Explore downtown Carmel’s culture, food, and morning beverages in this walking tour, including 6 stops for food and beverages.
Fridays, Saturdays
8:30am to 11am
$69.00, inclusive of food and drink

 

A jumpstart into the food and wine tour at Anton & Michel. Kobe beef short rib over polenta. Paired with a Rosé Pinot Noir
Seasonal beet risotto at Affina Food and Wine. A bistro and wine bar serving modern comfort food using seasonal and local ingredients
French-style spinach gnocchi baked in a creamy cheese sauce at Casanova, known as Carmel’s most romantic restaurant

Including olive oil on ice cream which adds a silkiness to the ice cream experience
And, balsamic vinegar on ice cream which brings out caramelized depth on the palate
A Manhattan paired with a lamb meatball at Terry’s Lounge at the Historic Cypress Inn. Classic and strong cocktails set in this old-world-charmed lounge named after Doris Day’s son, Terry
Wine tasting at Caraccioli Cellars for a sample of sparkling wine and Pinot Noir from this local winery
Ending with chocolate tasting at Lula’s Chocolates for locally made confections from this generations-old family owned business
