Best Margarita in Town at Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant

A Taste of Classic San Francisco at Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant.

Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant has been a classic San Francisco standard since it opened in 1965. The casual joint in the Richmond district attracts locals, families, and groups of friends for good food and great drinks.

All About Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant

Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant’s claim to fame can be accredited to two reasons:
1. The extensive quality tequila list with over 400 bottles, one of the biggest collections in the world.
2. Tommy’s Margarita, rated the best in town made from 100% agave tequila and an agave syrup which creates a most refreshing, balanced, and bright cocktail.

The margaritas are so good and the tequila is that impressive that Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant has recently been ranked Number 60 in the World’s Best Bars list.

The food menu includes classic Mexican and Yucatan dishes with large plates for big appetites and sharing portions for the whole table. The best way to start at Tommy’s is with a drink and a basket of chips and salsa.

Tommy’s Margarita paired with Ceviche de Tommy (Tommy’s marinated bay shrimp salad). Regardless of what else you order, you have to try the house signature margarita. You’ll also be given a basket of chips and salsa, which goes great with this generous order of ceviche.
