A few years back, I recommended a few hotels in central Tokyo with in-room washing machines (3 Hotels in Central Tokyo with In-Room Washing Machines). Here are a few more recommendations of Tokyo hotels in the Shibuya and Asakusa areas and beyond:
Opened in February 2024 and ideally located near the Shibuya Station. This new Hyatt House hotel in Shibuya is perfect for those wanting to stay in Tokyo a little longer as the room comes with not only a washer/dryer but also a kitchenette. Plus the hotel has a fitness center and rooftop garden.

Mimaru is a local Japanese apartment hotel brand with multiple locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and beyond. The rooms are great for families and groups traveling together because of the multiple beds in each quarter along with kitchens, washing machines, living rooms, and dining tables. This Asakusa location opened in December 2022 and is conveniently located near the next to the Sumida River and near the Senso-ji temple.
