Ultimate Luxury Hotel Suite: Tamar Suite at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong

Best Views and Biggest Suites at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong

While the penthouse suite of any hotel is the most luxurious, it is often too large and too excessive for a leisure trip. At the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, the suites on the same floor of the penthouse suite pamper and spoil guests just the same. Here’s a look at the hotel’s Tamar Suite:

About the Tamar Suite

The Tamar Suite is located on the top floor of rooms and suites for the hotel (just below the hotel restaurants and bar). As it is named after the former British Naval headquarters which Mandarin overlooked, the suite contains a nautical theme in its decor.

The 93 square meter space comprises of a large bedroom with a massive walk-in closet as well as a spacious bathroom complete with a stand-alone bathtub, a walk-in shower, and an enclosed toilet.

Guests of the suite can entertain their own guests in their private living room and dining room area which leads out to an impressive balcony which city and harbour views that wraps around the hotel building. There you can enjoy coffee and drink at any time – sunrise, sunset, as well as during the city’s nightly Light Show.

Finally, the room has a full kitchenette with a refrigerator/freezer, induction stovetop, microwave, and sink as well as a fully stocked coffee, tea, and water station. You can enjoy the kitchenette on your own and request for your suite’s personal butler to assist you in entertainment preparations.

Best Features of the Tamar Suite

There are so many amazing features to the Tamar Suite. The best features include the balcony which only guests on that floor can enjoy.

The coffee and tea station are supplied with far more premium teas and coffee capsules compared to the regular rooms and suites. Plus, the complimentary room water is Evian.

The spacious in the closet allows you to use the in-room yoga mat on which you can properly stretch out.

There is also the dining area in which you can request for room service and have a full restaurant-like meal in the comfort and privacy of your own room. The full kitchenette allows you to take leftovers home, heat it up in your microwave, and dine on leftovers with proper plates and silverware.

There are so many details within the room that spoil you from check-in to check-out. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to just stay in the suite during most of your trip to fully enjoy all that the Tamar Suite has to offer.
