Sunday Shopping for Things I’m Watching, Reading & Buying

Back for more Sunday Shopping! It’s okay, you can shop for these things on Monday or Tuesday or any day of the week.

Things I’m Watching

Izakaya Bottakuri
After watching and enjoying Japanese food-focused series like Midnight Diner, Samurai Gourmet, and Kangaroo: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman, Izakaya Bottakuri is on the top of my list. It jumps to the top spot because of how each episode focuses on a featured izakaya dish, including how to cook it and pair it with sake or beer. Currently available on Netflix for views in Southeast Asia.

Things I’m Reading (Or Want to Read)

After successfully not drinking a drop of alcohol during Lent, I have slowly eased back into a little glass of something at the end of the day. Something about this year of quarantine has made me a bit of a lightweight with more of a sensitivity to headaches and hangovers.

Enter, natural wines. While it’s a trend for some, natural wine has existed for centuries. But, it seems new to many casual drinkers. To help understand and appreciate the natural wine drinking experience, Natural Wine for the People: What It Is, Where to Find It, How to Love It is worth the read.

Things I’m Buying

Working from home means meals at home. And sometimes that means not eating at the dining table, but rather your desk. To stay mostly proper and to not mess up your desk, these wooden trays are the best and aesthetically nicest solution.
