Sunday Shopping with Foodicles, 50th Edition

Sunday Shopping for Things I’m Watching, Reading & Buying

It’s Sunday (or Monday or any other day of the week that you may be reading this), and it’s time to go shopping!

What to Watch

The Dropout
Currently, in the middle of the series, this is such a fascinating Hulu series on the life and scandal of Elizabeth Holmes. A must-watch for anyone interested in real-life dramas – and this is actually happening all in real life at the moment. Incredible timing.

Recommended Reading

The San Francisco Chronicle Cookbook
I grew up reading the food section of The Chronicle – which inspired this name Foodicles, for food chronicles. So when thinking of San Francisco-related cookbooks this week because of the Bay Area-based tv series, naturally I would choose this classic compilation from The Chronicle.

Williams-Sonoma Foods of the World: San Francisco: Authentic Recipes Celebrating the Foods of the World
Another SF classic for your library Williams-Sonoma is a tradition and a staple for any food-lover in the Bay Area. Plus, they have a legitimate selection of quality cookbooks.

This week is inspired by the Bay Area and San Francisco, so here is something that will help you when you bake sourdough bread in your kitchen.

9Pcs Seafood Tools Set Crab Lobster Crackers Stainless Steel Forks Opener Shellfish Lobster Crab Leg Sheller Nut Crackers, $10.99
The real San Francisco treat is dungeness crab season. There’s really nothing like the meaty naturally sweet crab meats in this variety.
