Sunday Shopping with Foodicles, 5th Edition

Sunday Shopping for Things I’m Watching, Reading & Buying

It’s Sunday (or Monday or any other day of the week that you may be reading this), and it’s time to go shopping!

What to Watch

Selena, The Series
Whether you a fan of her music or even J.Lo’s old movie, this 2-season Selena series on Netflix is not only entertaining, but it does a good job in detailing her life, the stories behind the music, and her impact on fans and the entertainment world.

Shanghai Share Life
Terrace House fans, this hits the spot! From the TH production, this Shanghai-based series will be your new favorite show to watch. It’s already out on YouTube (Youku account), but this fan site does a better job at translating each week. Season 2 is already filming in Shenzhen.

Sunday Shopping for Recommended Cookbooks

Anything by Adam Liam
I’ve been binging anything and everything by Adam Liaw on YouTube and the Australian SBS network. He’s a down-to-earth, friendly guy to watch that has a deep interest in food. Plus, he’s got cookbooks thanks to his Masterchef Australia’s success:
Asian After Work

Adam’s Big Pot: Easy meals for your family

The Zen Kitchen: Real Japanese family food

Destination Flavour: People and Places

Sunday Shopping: Purchases of the Week

Diamond Kosher Salt
This is the quintessential cooking salt for any home kitchen and professional kitchen.

Culturelle Daily Probiotic
My daily supplement for better gut health. This really aids my immune system and digestive health. Highly recommended. Plus, it can ship internationally!
