When it’s time to pour a glass of sparkling wine, like Champagne, Cava, or Prosecco, there are actually some sparkling wine glasses that are better than others in order to get the best tasting experience and/or have the most fun while drinking.

The thin, upright design has become a standard glass for toasting in any celebration. The narrow flute has a specific purpose to preserve the carbonation and flavor of the wine. This glass is best suited for young sparkling wines.

This glass is best suited for young, and more specifically, mature and premium sparkling wines.

The vintage brings back images of the Speakeasy Era when syrupy dessert Champagne was all the rage. However, the design has too much air exposure which dissipates the bubbles and aromas. For sure this glass is more of style over the tasting experience which makes it best suited for young and sweet sparkling wines, or even cocktails.
