The Principal Madrid Hotel

Luxury in the heart of Madrid

In the heart of Madrid, and yet away from the crowds, The Principal Madrid Hotel is ideally located at the corner of Gran Via.

The Principal Madrid Hotel

Steps away from Puerta del Sol, Chueca, Justica, and Salamanca and inside a 1917 Spanish renaissance style building, the luxury boutique hotel opened in 2015 with 76 trendy, chic rooms.

The main entrance along a side street welcomes guests and visitors to the hotel and transports them up to the lobby on the 6th floor. Guests are privileged to their private elevator.

The property is a Starwood Partner hotel, which allows SPG members to book via their website for points and benefits.

The Rooms

Rooms start at 19 square meters for 170€. The hotel also offers Junior Suites with 35 square meters and a Gran Via Suite as big as 50 square meters. Facilities include an on-site gym and sauna, which comes in handy for this culinary city.

Atico

The star of the hotel is Atico, the lobby restaurant by Michelin star chef Ramon Freixa.

Atico proudly serves Spanish cuisine with refinement. The menu presents lunch and dinner selections, with a 20% discount off food for weekday lunch.

Guests, diners, and visitors can also enjoy the hotel’s La Terraza on the 7th floor, a rooftop terrace showing off panoramic views of Madrid.
