Palawan Travel: How to Get From Manila to El Nido

Palawan Travel Tips: Getting to El Nido from Manila.

Palawan is one of the best beach destinations in the world, let alone the Philippines. So what’s the easiest way to get there? Here are Palawan travel tips for how to get from Manila to El Nido:

How to Get from Manila to El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

The best and fastest way to get from Manila to El Nido is by direct flight via Airswift. The airline is the only carrier flying in and out of El Nido at Lio Airport with daily flights in the mornings and afternoons. Flight time to El Nido takes less than an hour and a half.

In Manila, Airswift operates in the Domestic Terminal 4. If you are connecting from another flight in a different terminal, account for the extra time it will take to get your luggage and find transportation (best via a Grab which is Southeast Asia’s Uber).

If you are coming from Coron up north, you can take a ferry to El Nido Town; from San Vicente down south, it’s about a 4-hour drive; and from Puerto Princesa farther down, expect about a 6-hour drive. You can hire a van and drive from your resort or from Klook.
