Luxury Travel in Hong Kong: One-Day Itinerary

Luxury Travel in Hong Kong Island

Hong Kong is a destination for everyone, from budget travelers to luxury seekers. Here is a full itinerary for a day of luxury travel in Hong Kong Island:

9:00 AM Peak Circle Walk

Hong Kong is not just a metropolitan city, it is also the perfect destination to enjoy the outdoors. Make the most of your morning with a hike up Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Island’s highest point. From there, you can take in the best panoramic sights of the famous concrete jungle. The entire 3.5-kilometer walk will take about 2 hours. Bring sunscreen, water, and a light jacket. Photo by allen

Take the Peak Tram up to the Peak Tower, or rather than waiting in line take a taxi or an Uber to the start of the Peak Circle Walk at Lugard Road near the Peak Tower

2:00 PM Walk around Sheung Wan & SoHo

Walk off lunch by discovering the little streets of Central and Sheung Wan. Be sure to get on the Mid-Levels Escalator, the world’s longest outdoor covered escalator system at over 800 meters long (0.5 miles) and going up 135 meters (over 440 feet). One way up the escalator takes about 20 minutes. The escalators move downwards during weekday mornings bringing down the commuters living in Mid-Levels. Photo by James Antrobus
