Guide to Lio Beach in El Nido Palawan

Things to Do, Eat & Drink in Lio Beach.

Lio Beach has quickly become a premier destination in El Nido especially for those travelers seeking clean, established comfort without the ruggedness typically found in El Nido Town. Here is a guide to shops, restaurants, and more in Lio Beach:

Guide to Lio Beach’s Shops, Restaurants & More

Lio Beach offers beachfront facilities, shops, and restaurants for the public and for resort guests on the property. This is the place to go in El Nido to enjoy an established development without the chaos of crowds of locals and tourists.

Shops & Services

The beach features an area called Kalye Artisano which showcases and sells arts and crafts of the locals. This is the place to go for souvenirs and unique artistry to take home.

For clothing and last minute beachwear, head to the back row of shops along the beach for Cabañas by Tesoros and Salt & Sun.

For relaxation, Mayana Spa offers massage and spa treatments at reasonable rates.

Those wanting to book island hopping tours and other island travel activities have 4 options of travel agencies: AirSwift for flights, Adventure Scuba Travel & Tours for island activities, El Swift Travel & Tours also for island activities, and El Nido Yachting Club for exclusive island hopping tours on luxury boats.

Other facilities and services on the beach include a Mercury Drug for pharmacy needs and more, a BPI ATM machine, as well as a gym and co-working space.

Beachgoers can rent equipment to fully enjoy the waters such as kayaks, paddleboards, skimboards, surfboards, windsurfing, as well as a beach volleyball, beach soccer, or frisbee. You can even rent a bamboo bicycle by the hour to explore the beach and island area.

Public restrooms and wifi are available to all guests as well as free parking and free shuttle services to and from El Nido Town by the hour.

Restaurants, Cafes & Bars

A drink, snack, and meal at Lio Beach is a must, especially because this is one of the best places on the island to get a quality meal and drink.

Here is the breakdown of restaurants, cafes, and bars:
Bead Cafe and D’Factory for crepes, ice cream, and coffee
Shaka Cafe for smoothie bowls and healthy lunches
El Nido Grill for grilled specialities
Red Crab Alimango House for seafood
Fat Choy for Chinese, Taiwanese, and Southeast Asian dishes
Pizza & Amore for pizza and pasta
Globy Travelling Chef for an international selection
Manille Beach Bar for drinks, bar snacks, and more
Jungle Bar for drinks and bar snacks

(Do note that the beach, as well as every other beach in El Nido, has dogs and a couple of cats walking around the property. There are signs not to feed the animals. If you are not keen to them, you can ask the assistance of any staff member to help guide the animals away from your area.)
