JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa

JW Marriott Venice: An Italian oasis

JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, which opened in March 2015, resides in its own private 40-acre island, Isola delle Rose. The five-star luxury resort truly allows guests to escape from tourist chaos. It is a real Italian oasis.

Venice – Italy’s northern capital known for canals, architecture, culture…and crowds. Massive crowds. While the city is a must for travel lovers, it is equally necessary for a luxury retreat away from the masses.

With complimentary shuttle services, speedboats take guests directly to St. Mark’s Square in just 15 minutes. Similarly, guests can hire private speedboats or water taxis to take them through and around the canals.

Dining at the Resort

The island boasts of their Michelin-starred restaurant, Dopolavoro Dining Room, which serves Veneto-inspired cooking. The casual rooftop and poolside bar, Sagra, delivers praise-worthy local and Italian dishes as well.

And, to fully experience the cuisine The Cooking Academy provides a hands-on education for Venetian and Italian cuisines.

The resort’s facilities encourage guests to experience the full offerings – from cooking to eating to relaxing in the largest spa in Venice.
