Fall Travel Products: Must-Haves for the Season

5 Essential Fall Travel Products for All Travelers.

Fall travel means the summer heat cooling down, possible chance of showers, and a pre-winter breeze in the air. The seasonal change of climate requires travelers to pack these must-have fall travel products:

1. Fall Booties

It’s time store away your beach flip flops and sandals for something that will keep your ankles a little warmer. Fall booties may be one of the most stylish parts of the fall season. These are some of my favorite and most reliable brands for fall booties and men’s boots.

TOMS Women’s Ella Bootie

Sam Edelman Women’s Petty Ankle Boot

Clarks Men’s Desert Boot

For more selections of booties and other styles of fall shoes, check out the brands on Zappos.

2. Cardigan

Fall is the start of sweater season! Pack a cardigan in case it gets chilly, especially at night. Cardigans are the ideal type of sweater because of the open style design in which you do not have to pull it over your head and mess up your hair or makeup.

Goodthreads Men’s Soft Cotton Shawl Cardigan Sweater

3. Packable Rain Jacket & Umbrella

Pre-winter weather during the fall season means possible chances of rain while you travel. If you do not want to pack anything extra, you can use the hotel’s umbrella (either in your hotel closet or at the lobby’s bell station). Alternatively, you can pack one of these ultra-compact jackets and umbrellas:

Cole Haan Women’s Short Packable Rain Jacket

Eddie Bauer Men’s Rainfoil Packable Jacket

Compact Umbrella

For more rainy season products, check out this recommended list.

4. Scarf

A scarf is one of the most necessary travel accessories. You can use it at cold airports or airplanes and during cooler fall nights. For travelers, consider scarves with hidden pockets to keep items like your phone and wallet safer while traveling.

5. Lighter-Shaded Sunglasses

The harsher rays of summer are less intense during the fall months. Some fall days may even be cloudier. Whichever may be the case, it is still sunglasses are still essential for your eye’s health and well-being. Consider purchasing a lighter-shade of lenses for fall travel.
