Best Palawan Activities in El Nido.

Palawan is a must-visit destination for every beach lover, adventurer, and leisure vacation seeker. Here are 5 amazing Palawan activities to enjoy in El Nido, Philippines:

1. Island Hopping

The best days in El Nido are most definitely the adventures on the water. You can’t go to El Nido and not go island hopping. This part of Palawan has the most amazing island formations and beaches that you can only see by boat. You can hire a private luxury boat or hop on a traditional local bangka with fellow travelers.

2. Hikes

Back to back island hopping days are exhausting. Spend an extra night or two in El Nido to take your time enjoying all the activities. A day in between island hopping tours, go for a morning hike! For a safer adventure, check out the Taraw Cliff Canopy Walk to enjoy these epic views over El Nido Town.

3. Beach Days & Sunsets

After enjoying that morning hike, relax for the rest of the afternoon in one of El Nido’s gorgeous soft, sand beaches. Be sure to stay through the sunset as each beach has its own incredible picturesque moments.

4. Coconut Rums from Boat Vendors

When you go on your island hopping tours, be sure to bring small bills of pesos to enjoy cold beers and these coconut rums from the boat vendors that magically appear on one of your tour stops. The boat guy cuts open a fresh coconut and adds a generous pour of cheap local rum – strong and fun!

5. Eat & Drink at Lio Beach

Whether you are staying at a Lio Beach resort or not, you must plan a meal or an early night out to enjoy the restaurants and bars at this beach. Manille Beach Bar and Jungle Bar truly mix up some of the best drinks on the island.
