Pizza in Hong Kong: CIAK – In the Kitchen

Pizza at Hong Kong’s only Michelin-starred Trattoria.

Hong Kong is one of the world’s best food destinations because the city serves locals and travelers an international variety of cuisines, including great pizzas! For a quality pizza in Hong Kong, head over to CIAK – In the Kitchen in Central.

Pizza at CIAK – In the Kitchen

Located in the Landmark, the Central’s premier shopping mall, CIAK – In the Kitchen boasts of its status as Hong Kong’s first and only Michelin-starred trattoria.

The restaurant serves Italian comfort food in a casual, yet classy atmosphere. And while the kitchen has many specialties, including grilled meats and pasta, the pizza is the real star.

It all starts with the dough that is naturally fermented for 36 hours. Then the pie is topped with premium ingredients and oven baked. When it comes out, the pizza has that right amount of char that is crisp to bite while the crust is so fluffy on the inside because of the quality of the dough.

Margherita with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil. A great margherita pizza with a properly cooked dough, crispy yet fluffy crust, a nice mellowed tomato sauce, and delicate mozzarella sprinkled on top.

Estiva with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, rocket (arugula), Parma ham, and shaved parmesan. Get this if you love Parma ham as it is generously loaded on top after the pizza comes out of the oven.
