If you have religious or dietary restrictions, Cathay Pacific offers an extensive list of special meals. Here is more information about special meals and allergy disclaimers:
Cathay Pacific offers 21 specific special meals covering many religious and dietary needs, including Hindu/Indian, Diabetic, Low Sodium, and so on. Beyond this list, the airline cannot personalize individual meal requests. If your needs are not on the exact list, you must bring your own meal for your specific diet. Note that the airline cannot chill nor reheat your food during the flight.
For the complete list of special meals, check out Cathay Pacific’s website
Cathay Pacific only addresses peanut and tree-nut allergies. Their disclaimer warns that they cannot guarantee a peanut and/or tree-nut free environment. On Business Class and First Class, nuts are often served as a cocktail snack. You can request for a non-peanut or tree nut snack.
Fellow passengers may bring nuts on board, dishes can include nuts, and the airline cannot guarantee against cross-contamination in the food or onboard.
Therefore, if you have an allergy to peanuts, tree nuts, or anything else that cannot be accommodated on the list, you must bring your own food. Note that the airline cannot chill nor reheat your food during the flight.
