An Introduction to Thai Cuisine at The Peninsula Bangkok Thai Cooking Class

Cooking classes in Bangkok are a common offering for tourists and food lovers. While there are many choices, some of the best lessons and experiences come from the finest hotels in the city.

The Peninsula Bangkok presents The Joy of Thai Cooking: An Introduction to Thai Cuisine.

The Class Experience

Guests are first introduced to Thai ingredients in a local market via an authentic tuk tuk ride – Thailand’s famous three-wheeled taxi decorated in the Peninsula green and upgraded with Wi-Fi, cold bottled water, and a cold towel to cool off.

Back in the cooking class, located above the Thiptara kitchen (the hotel’s Thai restaurant), the chef demonstrates and guides guests with each of the four courses.  Every person makes their own dishes, which are tasted and approved by the chef. After the courses are cooked, you then enjoy the fruits of your labor.
