Staying at Porto River Apartamento Hotel: A window on the Duoro River

Overlooking the famous Duoro River in Porto, Portugal is a sight to behold. Now, imagine that panoramic vision in your bedroom.

Welcome to the Porto River Apartamento Hotel.

Located in the heart of the Ribeira, a World Heritage Site, the hotel resides in a history building dating back to the 17th century.

Just outside, the waterfront hosts restaurants with stunning views along the river. Walk up towards the town and you will be right in the historic old town of Porto.

And, a short walk across the bridge brings you to the famous port cellars for tastings and tours of the world’s best port wines.

New and Affordable

Opened in 2016 with just 16 rooms that combine history and contemporary environments, the Porto River Hotel offers the comforts of an apartment with the services of a hotel.

Rates start at 125 Euros for a 26 square meter Studio. For a spacious apartment feel, the two-bedroom apartment is 63 square meters complete with a living room and full kitchen.

While the four-star apartment hotel lacks some of the finer details of a true luxury hotel, the affordability, clean comfort, and location can more than compensate for it.
