Mandarin Oriental Marrakech

Marrakech has recently undergone a building boom with new hotels announced each year. In October 2015, Mandarin Oriental debuted their first African venture.

Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech immediately landed on the top lists of best new five-star hotels and resorts.

Moroccan heritage meets Oriental charm in this elegant, contemporary resort which exudes subtle refinement. Using natural and local materials, Moorish architecture with flat roofs house the Arabic, Berber, and Andalusian styles alongside contemporary touches.

The Location and Property

Just minutes away from the airport and city center, the property expands over an impressive 20 hectares, or 50 acres, of Moroccan desert-like land.

Within the property are landscaped gardens which are tended to daily, as well as olive trees, palm trees, and 100,000 rosebushes. Complementing the greenery are reflecting ponds and the resort’s main swimming pool, which can be heated when the weather cools.
