Worst Months to Visit Hong Kong

Summer

Hands down, the worst time of the year to visit Hong Kong is during its summer months from June to August. It is hot and sunny with “instant-sweat” high humidity levels. Temperature average ranges from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius (78 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit). While the temperature may read as a pleasant number, combined with the high humidity it is uncomfortably hot.

Aside from the heat, it is also the season for rain showers and thunderstorms. August is the wettest month of the year. If you plan to walk outdoors and see heavy clouds, always take an umbrella for unexpected downpours of rain
